Exploritas is the new name for the programs offered by Elderhostel, the non-profit world leader in lifelong learning and educational travel since 1975.
Welcome to the website for the Exploritas program at International House at the University of California, Berkeley!
We invite you to join us for a week of Exploritas classes and activities with people who share your interests in the multi-cultural environment of International House. Lectures by UC professors are complemented by local outings at no additional charge.
One program session is offered in 2010 from June 6 to 12. The Berkeley Forum on the Middle East: Can the Obama Administration Forge Lasting Peace? See descriptions of the program, details and photos of facilities and read program reviews by Exploritas participants.
International House is adjacent to the UC Berkeley campus and serves as home to 600 students from 70 countries during the academic year.
Accommodations, meals and classes are all in International House. Excellent cafeteria meals with choices to please any palate are included. Shops, museums, libraries, and bookstores, are within walking distance on hilly terrain.

Exploritas programs are offered by Elderhostel, a non-profit organization which sponsors educational programs through a network of more than 2,000 educational institutions, including International House.
Exploritas participants enjoy their final dinner together at International House.
