Programs for adults, ages 55 and over Elderhostel at International House at the University of California, Berkeley Welcome to the website for Elderhostel at International House! This website is created and maintained by International House. We invite you to join us for a week of classes and activities with people who share your interests in the multi-cultural environment of International House. Lectures by UC professors are complemented by local outings at no additional charge. Accomodations, meals and classes are all in International House.
International House is adjacent to the University of California campus. Excellent cafeteria meals with choices to please any palate are included. Shops, museums, libraries, and bookstores, are within walking distance on hilly terrain.
Elderhostel is a non-profit organization which offers eduational programs to older adults (over the age of 55) through a network of more than 2,000 educational institutions, including International House. One program session is offered this year, June 9-15, 2008. See descriptions of the program, details and photos of facilities and read program reviews by hostelers.
