FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM TAKES OFF
" e are pleased
to offer a way to translate much-needed gifts into travel
opportunities," notes Joe Lurie, Executive Director. Last year,
I-House initiated a program in cooperation with American Airlines that
recognizes the generous support provided by alumni and friends.
-House supporters can
earn 500 American Airlines ® AAdvantage ® miles for each $100
donated. To take advantage of this program, donors can check off the
mileage box on the reply envelope when making a gift of $100 or more.
uring the 1996-'97
fiscal year, 166 donors took advantage of the mileage program with gifts
of more than $34,790. Together, they earned 173,500 miles. "This is a
terrific first year," Lurie adds.
e hope the mileage
rewards program will encourage even more alumni to show their support for
the House while providing the opportunity to visit friends around the
world.
requent flyer miles
can be used to travel to more than 500 destinations in 50 countries on
American Airlines or one of its partner airlines. American Airlines has
more partners than any other airlines so there are more options for how to
use the miles.
n addition to
American Airlines, mileage can be used on American Eagle, British Airways,
British Midland, Canadian Airlines International, Cathay Pacific Airways,
Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, Midway Airlines, Qantas Airways, Reno
Air, Singapore Airlines, and South African Airways.
