- 1950's ALUMNI RETURN TO INTERNATIONAL HOUSE
- More than one hundred alumni and guests returned to the House on June 6 for a reunion of alumni who lived in International House during the 1950's.
- ALUMNUS IS UNIVERSITY MEDALIST
- The 1998 University Medal went to Mekhail Anwar '98 who lived in I-House during his junior year, 1996-'97.
- RENOVATION UPDATE
- International House has undertaken a ten-year renovation plan in an intensive effort to address deferred maintenance and needed improvements.
- ALUMNI AT WORLD BANK & HONG KONG SYMPOSIUM
- More than 160 International House alumni and guests attended a dinner program at the World Bank in Washington DC. International House alumni who attended the Technology: Gateway to Global Leadership symposium enjoyed an informal dinner in Hong Kong.
- HAAS AND INTERNATIONAL HOUSE IN LONDON
- Alumni from throughout Europe came to London for the 1998 European Symposium presented by the Haas School of Business at Cal in partnership with International House, October 2-4.
- NEW MEMBERS JOIN BOARD
- Five new members were elected to the International House Board of Directors at its May and September meetings.
