For a while now, I have been sharing the stories of International House alumni who have used planned giving opportunities to make very generous contributions to the House while preserving their own financial security. Because the variety of options are nearly as great as the different needs and financial goals of donors, I thought I would give you a sense of how planned gifts have helped donors and made a real difference in furthering International House goals.
For more information about Planned Giving, please write or call Melinda Carmack, Director of Development for International House at 2299 Piedmont Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94720-2320, (510) 642-0124 or contact the Office of Planned Giving, University of California at Berkeley, 2440 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, CA 94720-4200.
Contributions from alumni and friends to the Annual Fund have grown greatly in recent years. Thank you for the funding that enables International House to provide challenging programs, undertake much needed maintenance and renovations, and strengthen the House for future generations! The Annual Report for 1997-'98, which includes a full review of the year as well as the Honor Roll of Donors, will be mailed in December to all donors who made gifts of $35 or more during 1997-98. |
