UNIVERSITY SECTION CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

ince the end of World War II, the University Section Club (formerly known as the Faculty Wives) and International House have been partners in their service to foreign students at Berkeley. The Foreign Student Committee welcomes students into their homes and coordinates programs to make the transition to life in the States a bit easier.

n the spirit of international friendship, the Section Club launched an effort to endow a room and board scholarship at International House to benefit both foreign and American students. Since last August when they began their campaign, nearly $14,000 has been raised toward their goal of $25,000.

nternational House is deeply grateful for the generosity and commitment of the members of the University Section Club. We look forward to awarding the first scholarship when the $25,000 goal is reached. To contribute to this fund, simply note "Section Club Scholarship" on your check (payable to International House) or reply form.
