CAMPAIGN CELEBRATION

n November 6, sixty-five donors and friends gathered in the Great Hall to celebrate the successful conclusion of our campaign and unveil the Global House for a Global Age Donor Wall. It was a joyous occasion to celebrate our shared success and the impact of this major campaign on International House. A highlight of the evening came when Chancellor Tien presented a special commendation to J. Dennis Bonney (IH 54-55) for his impressive leadership during the campaign. The event concluded with an extraordinary musical composition by I-House Resident Brian Current entitled Variations On The Theme of International House which he performed on the piano.

e were delighted to publicly acknowledge the leadership support provided by I- House alumni Orville and Ellina Marx Golub who met at I House in 1939 and were married here in 1941. In celebration of 55 years of marriage they made a major contribution to the Architectural Heritage Fund which was instrumental in our final campaign success. In recognition of their support, the Home Room will be renamed the Orville and Ellina Marx Golub Home Room.
