Dr. Patricia E. TaylorAmbassador Kenneth D. Taylor (IH ’57-‘59) & Dr. Patricia E. Taylor (IH ’58-’60) will be honored as I-House Alumni Couple of the Year in recognition of their heroism during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis and decades of championing the values of International House in their personal and professional lives.

Recently depicted in the 2012 Oscar winning film for Best Picture, Argo, the Taylors met while both were I-House residents in 1958.

Renowned investigative journalist, Lowell Bergman, will interview the Taylors at the I-House Gala on 4/18.

Jimmy Carter on Argo

Prior Gala speakers include I-House alumni such as philanthropist Richard Goldman, Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin, John Kenneth Galbraith, Sadako Ogata and Jan Egeland of the United Nations, Michael Blumnethal, author Chitra Divakaruni and Oscar winning filmmaker Charles Ferguson. Additional prior honorees include Joan Baez, David Rockefeller, Harry Belafonte, Ted Turner, George Shultz, Rita Moreno, Lee Hamilton, Jerry Yang, Leon Panetta, Maxine Hong Kingston, Elizabeth Farnsworth, and Yehudi Menuhin.
