Board News
The International House Board of Directors welcomed three new members at its October meeting.

Anna-Marie Booth, Esq., is the Executive Director of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ), Northern California Region, a non- profit organization dedicated to fighting bias, bigotry and racism. Ms. Booth held advocacy positions with AT&T, including State Director-Government Relations. She served as President of the Bay Area Public Affairs Council and as a Commissioner of the Arts. Ms. Booth, who received a J.D. degree from Emory University, is a member of the Black Leadership Forum and Trustee of the World Affairs Council of Northern California.

Haig Mardikian is the owner of Mardikian Enterprises and President of Adiuvana-Invest, Inc., real estate investment firms. He is Chairman of the Board of the SIFE Trust Fund and Forward Funds Inc., mutual fund companies. He received a bachelor's degree in history from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves as Trustee of Trinity College, The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and the William Saroyan Foundation.

Charlene Raimondi is President of the Piedmont-Montclair Rotary Club and has been active with Rotary exchange programs and students for many years. Mrs. Raimondi ran the locally-known Raimondi Paint and Wallpaper Store in Oakland from 1986 to 1996 and served as a Girl Scout troop leader and President of the Moreau Catholic High Parent Association. She served on the Cal Performances Membership Committee at UC Berkeley and is Chair of the Development Committee of Holy Names High School in Oakland.
