Five new members were elected to the International House Board of Directors at its May and September meetings.

Mark Couchman is President of Silverado Premium Properties, an investment fund established for the purpose of acquiring vineyards and other agricultural properties. He also serves on the board of The Foundation for San Francisco's Architectural Heritage. He received his B.A. in agricultural economics from Davis and his M.B.A. from Cal.

Nobuhiro Fukaya is General Manager of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd., in San Francisco. A graduate of Tokyo University, Mr. Fukaya has served in Tokyo as Chief Manager in the bank's Overseas Planning Division and as head of Bank Debenture Planning.

Glenn Isaacson, a principal with Conversion Management Associates, returns to the I-House Board for which he chaired the Executive and House Committees and played a major role in shaping the ten-year renovation plan. He has also served as Deputy Director of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency and provided leadership in the development of Oakland's City Center.

Michaele Rittenberg is Vice President for Enterprise Management of Architecture at Sun Microsystems where she has also served as Director of Software Services / Acting Director of Systems Administration and Systems Effectiveness Manager. She received her degree from the University of Denver.

Robert Wong is Vice President of BSA Architects in San Francisco, a trustee of the UC Berkeley Foundation, and a trustee of the Chinese Culture Foundation of San Francisco. He has also served as a trustee of the Boy Scouts of America, Piedmont Council, and served as President of the Berkeley Bears Youth Organization. He received his B.A. in architecture from Cal in 1968.
