Philanthropic Ventures Foundation (PVF), a public charity that specializes in conducting customized grantmaking for donors, takes the initiative and helps donors set-up a donor-advised fund from which grants can be made to any charitable cause.

Recognizing the immediate needs of organizations, PVF originated immediate response grants which “fast track” giving by responding to grant requests within an hour and provide funding support within a day. In addition to developing programs to meet specific interests of the donors, PVF also introduces donors to existing programs in the community.

With a history of giving to programs that support education and learning, PVF’s services are ideal for an International House alumnus or friend interested in providing one-time or ongoing financial support toward the renovation and computerization of the Fleishhacker Library.

Philanthropic Ventures Foundation works with donors at all income levels. If you are interested in starting a fund through PVF, please call: Kate McClintock, International House, (510) 642-0124 or Bill Somerville, Philanthropic Ventures Foundation, (510) 645-1890.
