 The public and common areas on the ground and second floor, including the Café with its patios, are served by the campus-wide wireless AirBears network. It is maintained by the university. More information on AirBears.
To connect wireless, select the AirBears network, open your web browser and authenticate with your CalNetID and password. If the authentication webpage doesn’t show up automatically after you’ve opened your web browser, try the address https://wireless-gw1.berkeley.edu
If you are a regular student, you should receive your CalNetID in the beginning of the semester. If you are not registered at the UC Berkeley as a regular student (for example if you are an Extension Student or Visiting Scholar) you may get your CalNetID at a later point.
