Setup Android for the I-House Secure Wireless Network


The following are instructions for configuring an Andoid phone. Note: you must have a Google Play account to download the configuration app.

Connect to the IH-Onboard wireless network and open your browser. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.  If the Terms and Conditions page (pictured below) does not open, navigate to http://wifi.ihouseberkeley.org


Authenticate using your IHouseID and your last name as it appears in the Starrez system. Your IHouseID can be found by logging into the Starrez portal and locating the IHouseID link. The last name is the name as recorded in Starrez and is case sensitive.


Tap Step 1: First, Install the App.


At the prompt, tap Get it on Google Play.


When the Cloudpath app displays, tap Install.


When Cloudpath has finished installing, tap Open.
A message displays instructing you to return to the secure network main screen. Tap your home button to exit.


Return to the open browser and tap Android Devices > Step 2: Next, Configure Your Device.

A screen letting you know the changes that will be made to your device displays. Tap Continue.


Next the Cloudpath app will attempt to connect to the wireless network. 


Your device is now configured to access the Stanford Secure network. Tap Done.
