Aidan Cooke’s journey at I-House began in August 2022 as a student worker in the catering department. He was soon promoted to Catering Lead, where he developed a strong foundation in hospitality and event logistics before transitioning into his current position.
In July 2024, Aidan was hired as the Event Services Coordinator. A UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and an emphasis in Neurobiology, Aidan brings both precision and creativity to the planning process. In this role, Aidan coordinates and manages events for a wide variety of clients, including UC Berkeley campus departments, private organizations, and I-House’s own internal programming team.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Aidan attended a dual immersion program and earned the State Seal of Multilingual Proficiency—skills that enhances his ability to connect with I-House’s globally diverse community.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at I-House, Aidan says, “I am proud to work for an organization that places intercultural respect and understanding at the forefront of its mission. It’s inspiring to work in a community that seeks to unify people of all backgrounds.”
