Dear I-House Community,
Many International House alumni and friends have reached out with concerns about I-House and our international residents. With ongoing visa delays, travel restrictions, and increased scrutiny due to recent U.S. policy changes, this is an especially challenging time for students hoping to join our community from abroad.
We are committed to ensuring that I-House remains a welcoming place for all. To support this, we are maintaining flexible policies and assuring incoming international residents that their room at I-House will be waiting, even if their arrival is delayed.
We are also working to ensure that we can provide scholarship support to those with financial need. Last year, almost 20% of our residents — most of them international students — received scholarships to help make their stay possible. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support scholarships for international residents by June 30, 2025. We are just $15,000 away from reaching it.
