I-House Gala

I-House Celebration & Awards Gala

The annual event raises funds to benefit the community of nearly 600 scholars from 76 different countries residing at I-House, while honoring alumni who exemplify the I-House mission of fostering intercultural respect and understanding, lifelong friendships, and leadership skills to promote a more peaceful world. Proceeds from the Gala benefit The Fund for I-House, a resource that provides for life-changing scholarships, inspirational programming, and crucial maintenance to our historic home. Supporters of our Gala will help ensure current and future residents are able to live, learn, and grow under the dome, furthering the I-House mission.

Gala 2019

Oona King, I-House Alumna of the Year 2019

On May 9th, 2019, we rolled out the red carpet to honor Baroness Oona King as our 2019 I-House Alumna of the Year to recognize her work as a member of the British Parliament, her advocacy for human rights, and her visionary leadership as the Director of Diversity Strategy at Google. It was an inspiring evening under the dome as we welcomed Oona back to I-House for her first time in 30 years!
