Dear I-House Community,

As the world grows increasingly turbulent and the fabric of society continues to be stressed past the point of breaking each day, the vision of a more just and peaceful world seems ever more remote. It’s sometimes difficult amidst intractable hatred, conflicts, violence, wars, death, and destruction to imagine pathways to peace.

Yet, when I walk into I-House, I see a diversity of faces, hear a symphony of languages in the halls, and am struck by the intercultural friendships and mutual understanding and respect growing within the architectural beauty of my surroundings. I am in awe of the spirit of I-House that we keep building, together. It gives me hope.

On behalf of my colleagues and our residents from around the globe, thanks for all that you do for I-House, whether that’s through gifts of financial support, by reading and sharing our newsletter, or simply by being an ambassador of our cause in your daily life and interactions. Our vision of a more just and peaceful world is more relevant than ever today – thank you for sharing in this vision, for supporting our mission, and for being part of the I-House global community.

Please enjoy the expressions of gratitude from some of our current residents in this brief video:
