Meet Roxanne Pifer, Director of Admissions and Housing Operations

Roxanne Heglar

I oversee residential life at I-House and work closely with a splendid team of resident assistants (RAs) and Security Monitors (SMs). I am here to assist residents, along with the RAs and the SMs, with any matters pertaining to safety and security, well-being, conflict mediation and resolution, crisis intervention, enforcement of our community standards, referrals, and accommodations. The goal of our residential life team is to ensure that all residents have a positive experience at I-House and to provide the support they need during their stay here.

I have served in the Student Affairs field in Career Services, Admissions, Graduate level academic advising, and residential life. I love my job, my daily interactions with residents, and the amazing intercultural exchange that takes place at I-House on a daily basis. I hope residents make I-House their home away from home, even if they are here for a short period.

My office is located on the second floor, next to the library. If you have any questions or concerns, just send me an email at ihres@berkeley.edu.
