Meal Plans

Please be advised that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors has announced the suspension of I-House operations temporarily for the fall academic semester and potentially for the remainder of the 2020-21 academic year. Please review updated information on guidelines for health, safety, and services on the Temporary Closure & COVID-19 FAQ.

Eating together is an essential component of the I-House experience; therefore, the meal plan is mandatory for all I-House residents. For the Fall Semester 2019, residents receive 211 meals, and in Spring 2020, residents receive 216 meals. Residents who need to add meals to their card can do so in blocks of 30 or 100 at the Dining Services Office. Please note that unused meals do not carry over from semester to semester and meal points are not transferable or convertible to cash. Meal plans can only be used at I-House, as we are not associated with CalDining. Read more about Resident Meal Plans.
