Dear I-House Community,

In this issue of the I-House Connection, I invite alumni and friends of International House to memorialize your time at I-House, honor a friend, convey hopeful messages of peace, or celebrate the memory of a loved one. Your dedication will be engraved onto a brick and placed on the von Kaschnitz patio in front of the I-House Edmonds’ Café. If you’ve already dedicated a brick at I-House, thank you, and please come back to see your brick on the newly renovated patio!

I also wish to invite you and your friends and family to come back to I-House for some fun and exciting upcoming events. Please see details below about the next Quarterly Happy Hour on June 20th, a gathering of the Florence and Harry Edmonds Legacy Circle on July 19th, and the annual All Years Reunion Brunch on August 18th – this year commemorating the 94^th birthday of our opening!

I-House will also be hosting some additional gatherings in Asia: Shanghai on June 21st and Tokyo on June 27th. I’d love to see you in-person there, and to hear about your I-House memories, accomplishments since leaving I-House, and impacts of our global community.

We are thrilled to be welcoming the members of the Florence and Harry Edmonds Legacy Circle for afternoon tea at I-House on July 19th. At this gathering, we will celebrate and thank those members of our community who have planned a gift to I-House in their wills or other estate plans. I-House Alumni Gatherings in Asia

I-House alumni have been gathering around Asia to reconnect, share memories, and to celebrate our global community. Recent alumni events have taken place in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Please let us know if you’d like to join the upcoming I-House alumni gatherings in Shanghai on June 21 and in Tokyo on June 27.
