A vital part of the Robertson Resident Life and Intercultural Development Office (RIO) team, Program Leaders help plan and coordinate signature I-House events and its vibrant cultural program, and they also support resident-initiated activities that aim to build community and bring residents together.

Delvin MarimoHi! My name is Delvin Marimo and I am from Zimbabwe. I recently finished my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Union College in Upstate New York. Here, I am a Masters student in Information Management Systems with an interest in Machine learning, software and Data Engineering. I enjoy going on hikes and playing soccer. Ella MacallairHello, I’m Ella Macallair, a senior in the UC Berkeley - Sciences Po Dual Degree program studying Political Science and Global Studies, with a concentration in global development and a regional specialization in the MENA region. I grew up in the Bay Area but have received an international education during which I have lived abroad in Spain and France. This is my second year living at the International House and I’m excited to continue being part of its diverse and vibrant community as a Program Lead. Karl LuneauHi! I’m Karl, and I’m excited to have joined the I-House for my final academic year in innovation management. I’m a French-Lebanese graduate student from Nice, where the mountains meet the Mediterranean Sea. It’s a perfect environment to try new activities and stay active all year long. I recently completed a six-month training with the Army, and before that, I interned at Coca-Cola, working on the 2024 Olympic Games. I’m also passionate about music, I used to play the piano and was part of a band. Two years ago, I had the opportunity to study in South Korea, which allowed me to travel around Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines with just my backpack. I am a former dancer and gymnast, and I have a passion for traveling, cooking, fashion, and philosophy. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, attending concerts, and indulging in embroidery. My experience in community leadership includes leading the Association of Polish Students in France and initiating social projects, such as an English language school for Polish seniors. Currently, I speak 3.5 languages and am working on mastering Spanish. I am eager to learn more through my interactions within the I-House community. I am very open to sharing about Polish culture and am looking forward to meeting new people at I-House and beyond. |

Program Leads for I-House Berkeley
Eligibility
PLs are required to be an I-House resident and have registered status at UC Berkeley during their term of employment. **Exchange students are more than welcome to apply, even if they are at I-House only for a semester.
Registered undergraduate or graduate student possessing a minimum 2.300 cumulative GPA and in good standing with the University at the time of application and throughout the period of employment. Please note that GPA does not round up. Having a GPA of 2.299 or below will make you ineligible for the position.
Full-time academic status (minimum 12-13 units per semester) during period of employment. Exceptions must have prior approval.
It is a part-time position of up to 15 hours per week.
